Skating with the Stars': Scores for November 22, 2010 -- The first season of ABC's new show, Skating with the Stars, premiered Monday night right after the network's popular Dancing with the Stars. Six non-professional skaters competed for scores with the judges in a format that is very similar to Dancing with the Stars. Viewers are also invited to call in or vote online.

Like Dancing with the Stars, Skating with the Stars began in England and was brought to American televisoin.

Judges for Skating with the Stars are: Olympian figure skaters Johnny Wier and Dick Button and choreographer, Laurieann Gibson.

Skating with the Stars gives two scores -- one for technical merit and one for artistic impression.  The routine lasts 1 minute and a half and is performed live.

Brandon Mychal Smith & Keauna McLaughlin -- Technical: 6, 5, 5 = 16/30; Artistic: 7, 7, 6 = 20/30; Total = 36/60.


Jonny Moseley & Brooke Castile -- Technical: 7, 7, 7 = 21/30; Artistic: 6, 6, 7 = 19/30; Total = 40/60.


Rebecca Budig & Fred Palascak -- Technical: 7, 7, 7 = 21/30; Artistic: 8, 8, 8 = 24/30; Total = 45/60.


Sean Young & Denis Petukhov -- Technical: 6, 5, 5 = 16/30; Artistic: 7, 5, 6 = 18/30; Total = 34/60.


Vince Neil & Jennifer Wester -- Technical: 6, 4, 4 = 14/30; Artistic: 6, 4, 4 = 14/30; Total = 28/60.

That makes the highest scoring pair of the evening Rebecca Budig & Fred Palascak with 45/60 and the lowest scoring pair Vince Neil & Jennifer Wester with 28/60.

As part of the program the first night, judge and Olympian figure skater, Johnny Wier performed on the ice to Lady Gaga's "Poker Face."
